Ryan / Founder
The person behind Solo.
I'm a Pittsburgh native who has spent more than a decade learning how design, technology, sales, and operations meet inside a real business.
LinkedInStarted local, kept learning
A designer's eye. A builder's curiosity. A business perspective.
I started Ryan Solo Designs in 2011 while I was still in high school, building websites and creative materials for local businesses. The work taught me how much trust can be gained or lost before a customer ever speaks to someone.
My career expanded into hands-on manufacturing and additive manufacturing, then into technical marketing, sales, account management, and long-term customer relationships. I saw how companies buy, sell, communicate, manage projects, and get slowed down by disconnected processes.
Eventually I began building automations, integrations, internal tools, and focused applications to solve those problems. Solo Solutions brings those experiences together: not as a collection of services, but as one practical way to help a business work better.
Why the name changed
Ryan Solo Designs grew into Solo Solutions.
The change reflects a wider view of the work, not a cosmetic rebrand.
Design is still part of how I think. But the most useful answer may also involve search, sales materials, a webhook, a better workflow, or a tool that does not exist yet. “Solutions” leaves room to start with the business problem and connect the disciplines required to solve it.
Pittsburgh, on purpose
Close enough to understand the work.
I grew up in the South Hills and now live in the city. I want Solo Solutions to become the trusted local partner companies call when the digital side of the business stops keeping up.
That local focus does not mean a project must fit inside one zip code. It means relationships, responsiveness, and practical understanding come first.
A useful first conversation
You do not need to know what to call the solution.
Tell me what is happening, what keeps getting missed, or what you wish worked differently. We can figure out the right next step from there.
